Patterns on our website can be used to make as many finished products as you like for any purpose, including to sell.

I would appreciate an acknowledgement on your finished product, such as 'Handmade by [the maker's name] from a design by Gilly Howe at parchmentpatterns.com', but this is entirely optional.

However, it is an infringement of copyright if you copy to sell or give away the patterns themselves by any means, including offering and distributing the material for publication in either printed or electronic form.

Newsletters

We will not automatically opt you in to our free newsletter subscription.  However, if you have subscribed, we will use your name and email address to send our monthly newsletter to you. Out of respect for your privacy, we provide you a way to unsubscribe on the newsletter itself and also within the site if you area registered user.

Disclosure

We do not link aggregate user data with personally identifiable information nor do we share aggregate information. We DO NOT Share Personally Identifiable Information with Third Parties. We always use a payment processing company (see 'Payment' section on the 'Orders & Payment' page) and this company does not share, store or use personally identifiable information for any other purposes.

We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site.
